Mental Health Counselor, Private Practice

The Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center is a highly reputable and busy, counseling private practice seeking a contractor Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Experience working with couples, parents, families and children preferred. Candidates MUST be currently licensed as an LPC, LCPC, LCSW or LMFT.

The Practice Provides:

• A stream of referrals and company marketing
• An Admin team who answers phone calls and schedules initial client appointments so you can focus on seeing clients!
• Clinical supervision for provisionally licensed clinicians

Position Requirements:

· Active, unrestricted State of Illinois license as an LPC, LCPC, LCSW or LMFT.

Position Preferences:

• Prior private practice experience is a plus
• Training in an evidence-based couple’s modality is a plus or willing and able to be trained (Gottman, EFT, etc.)
• Interest in doing couples counseling is a plus
• Training in EMDR is a plus
• Weekday evening availability and Saturday or Sunday availability
• 20 hours - 40 hours per week (schedule is flexible)

This is a Contractor position.

Pay: $50 - 65 per session depending on licensure and experience. As a contractor, the person in this position will be compensated for each session hour had with a client.

Potential to make up to $85,000 a year

Must have weekend availability as there is high demand for Saturdays

There are two shifts for each day and together, we can find a schedule that works well for you!

Here is a potential schedule for this position:

Monday: 12:30pm - 9pm

Tuesday: 5pm- 9pm

Thursday: 12:30pm - 9pm

Friday: 9am - 5:30pm

Saturday: 9am - 1:00pm

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
