DESCRIPTION:The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and the ABC/25 Foundation invite runners and walkers of ALL ages and abilities to participate in this fundraising event that combines fitness and fun for the entire family!\n\nEVENT FLYER\n\n5k Run/Walk\n\n1 Mile Run/Walk\n\n \n\nJoin students\, families\, and neighbors on Saturday\, April 11\, 2015 as you move to raise money for education. Thanks to the past support of our community and local businesses last year\, we were able to raise $23\,000 that will benefit the teachers and students of District 25. We had almost 1000 participants in attendance representing 9 schools in which over 500 of the runners were students.\n\nRUN\, WALK\, DONATE\, or HELP.\n\nJust Move it!\n\nThe Scholarship and Grant Fund All proceeds will go to the Scholarship and Grant Fund\, benefiting the education of School District 25 students. The Scholarship and Grant Fund is a partnership between the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and ABC/25 Foundation. The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs is the not-for-profit PTA organization that unites all 9 school PTAs. The Council uses proceeds from this event to award scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attended District 25 schools and endeavor to recognize personal achievement. Scholarship selection is based on efforts in the classroom\, school and community involvement\, motivation\, and paid and volunteer work experience. ABC/25 Foundation is a not-for-profit organization of parents\, teachers\, administrators\, and business leaders. The Foundation will use proceeds from this event to provide funds for educational enhancements to District 25 classrooms through special teacher and school grants.\n\n\n\nhttp://jmichallenge.org/
