SUMMARY:Arlington Heights Rotary Club's Annual Santa Sleigh 5K Run
DESCRIPTION:A New Holiday Tradition\n\n\n\nChip timed 5K Run/Walk along with a Reindeer Run for kids 10 and under. Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to jolly themselves up in Santa Suits and race a 5 Kilometer\, traffic-free course in the heart of Arlington Heights. There will also be a 1 mile walk for those who prefer a Santa Stroll.   \n\n\n\nThis year\, Santa will know who's naughty and nice and who's sluggish or speedy. The Rotary Club started collaborating with Santa on the fun run in 2008 to assist in funding the Club's charitable initiatives. \n\n\n\nTo date\, the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights has donated over $250\,000 to worthy causes throughout Arlington Heights and neighboring communities\, directly as a result of the Santa Run.
